Paul's approach to coaching and facilitation is a unique synthesis of his 22 years of experience in the realms of Leadership, Sales, Natural Health and Martial Arts. This eclectic background underpins Paul's multi-disciplinary approach and systemic thinking when working with individuals and teams.

Paul possesses a solution oriented approach to change management, leadership and coaching. He comes from a position of unconditional positive regard towards his clients and seeks to assist them in discovering their latent talents and resources.

Paul's philosophy is simple and can be summed up as follows:

"It is not enough simply to know what it is that needs to change or how it needs to change. In order to make change of any kind a reality, we must take decisive, congruent action and embody the change we wish to initiate and sustain."

As a result of his philosophy, Paul's coaching and facilitation is pragmatic, energetic and playful. His approach to coaching and facilitation engages the minds and bodies of his clients and course participants and as such, time spent with Paul is like playing a full body sport.

Paul possesses an insatiable curiosity and thirst for learning and personal development. This has driven Paul to study and learn from numerous exemplars in many different fields of expertise. To date he has trained in ten different Martial Arts systems including Kyokushin Karate, Aikido, Aiki-jutsu, Wing Chun Kung Fu, French Savate, Korean Hapkido, Mae Paem Tao, Ryu Kyu Kempo, Russian Ryabko Systema and Filipino Kombatan Presas Style.

He has risked life and limb in Soweto to learn from a South African Sangoma (Shaman) as well as a former school principal of an Apartheid period Bantu educational institution in South Africa. He has also made the difficult and arduous journey to the far northern border of Italy, to gain deeper insight from the citizens of the federation of Damanhur and to bear witness and marvel at their amazing achievements.

Paul is capable of communicating complex ideas and philosophies in an articulate and accessible manner, so that clients and course participants are able to extract and apply key learnings and understandings in a personally meaningful manner.
